School Counsellor

Our School Counsellor, Guler Ann Gerger’s role is to help students with their transition to a new school setting, help them meet social and emotional needs, and support staff and families as needed. She holds introductory meetings with all new students from year 3 and up. Students of any age and parents may ask for a counselling appointment from the administrative staff or the student’s teacher at any time, for any reason. Unless a parent specifically forbids the counsellor from working with a student, school counselling is considered a regular educational service provided by the school.

Parents may contact her directly, either via email (GulerAnn@besaturkey.org) or in person. Parent consultations are 30 minutes in length, and are usually limited to one session.

Guler Ann is at school every Wednesday and Thursday.
