This week is Poetry week at BESA. As part of this exciting week we are pleased to welcome Mr Tony 'Longfella' Walsh from the UK.  Mr Walsh is a poet and will be working with all our students during the course of his time with us.

BESA as a school has not been directly impacted by the recent events in Turkey. All our staff are fine and, whilst we are monitoring the situation closely, we expect to open as planned on 29th August for the 2016-2017 school year.

A Thank You From COBIS

British Embassy School Ankara would like to express our most sincere condolences to all those affected by the recent terrorist attack. Though BESA is running as normal, we are saddened by the terrible loss of life and hope for a quick recovery of those who have been injured.

Dear Parents, On Wednesday our youngest students in EYFS and KS1 will take part in sports day - between 9am - 11am. On Thursday our older students in KS2 and 3 will participate in their sports day, again from 9am.
