OUTREACH HEALTH PROMOTION ACTIVITY WITH LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOL

On Monday, March 18, the School Nurse, in conjunction with 2 students from Years 6 & 7, will go to Imrahor Ankara-Cankaya Ozbirlik Ilkokulu (Primary School) to teach the students about the importance of proper hand-washing and dental hygiene. Following the presentation, all the children of Imrahor primary school will receive a toothbrush, toothpaste and hand-soap, courtesy of a donation from Colgate-Palmolive. This is a great opportunity for BESA students to perform and be involved in a community outreach programme with underprivileged children.
