BESA aims to use Turkey’s rich history and unique geography as a resource for learning. Residential and day trips form an important part of the life of the school. Trips are held for pupils in Key Stage 2/3. Current trips include Cappodocia for Year 3, Pastoral Vadi Fethiye for Year 4, Space Camp for Year 5, Gallipoli for Year 6, The Black Sea for Year 7 and London for Year 8. The trips are designed to provide support to the curriculum through first-hand experience, as well as social development.
